My names Jenny and I'm a freshman in college. Because of my love for rescue animals, I'm dual majoring in Animal Care and Criminal Justice. I've volunteered for over 6 years at a no-kill animal shelter about 40 minutes away from my hometown. With my family, we have fostered over 100 animals, including puppy litters and special needs dogs.
Because of my background you'll notice that my drawings are distinctly dog-themed, though I like to break the pattern with drawings of my lizard Ulla every now and then. I draw for fun, and I often get the "urge" to draw. I feel that art needs to stay a hobby for me, as I don't have the same passion for it as I do for rescue. However, I joined DeviantArt to get a better idea of how my art can improve, and to see what everyone thinks of my drawings. Just because I want art to remain as a hobby, doesn't mean I don't want to be good at it! I feel that if I get better with my art everyday, by the end of my life, I'll have a talent I can be really proud of.
